There is so much going on, its been difficult to find the time to blog! I’ve been busy planning some yarn shop events/visits. I’ll be headed to GA May 17th and 18th (see the events page) to stop by some of my favorite yarn shops and meet lots of lovely knitters! I’ve spent every evening loading up patterns into Ravelry, there are 39 patterns in the book and I have 20 or so in there now. It takes a LONG TIME to load up all the proper info and images, much longer then I expected!
Here is the Laura camisole, it’s made with slipped and twisted stitches. The first couple of rounds are tricky, but then suddenly you find you have memorized the 2 important rows in the twisted cables, and you are able to think ahead and know what comes next for the trellis as you work the diamonds. It is a knit that does require some focus so don’t attempt this while juggling kids, but by the end you will be surprised how good you are at anticipating the pattern!
Okay, that is cute. I just might have to knit something for a niece, now!
This is absolutely adorable! I love the cabling down the side. 🙂
This is so cute! The details in it are charming! And I also LOVE her skirt! It looks handmade too…is it? 🙂 If so, where can the pattern be found!
The skirt is by matildajane.com, they have really cute cloths!
