First it was Wollmeise, then it was Bugga! Sock yarn has taken over the online knitting world (or sometimes it feels that way!). Either way, I was lucky enough to go to SAFF and snag some Bugga! for myself. I have not knit with it yet, but I also bought some with the intention of doing a give-away on the blog. I have two skiens, so there will be two winners. Each winner will also receive a hard copy of my Country Kiddie pattern, which calls for sock yarn.
This is some amazing yarn, check out the fiber contents:
70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon
412 yds/4 oz
7-8 sts/” on US#1-2
It retails at $28 and is some of the softest and squishiest yarn I have ever felt.

Super cute pattern, I have a new baby girl who would look great in that shirt this summer. I am fairly new to knitting (about 2 yrs) but I think that I can handle this pattern especially with such great yarn.
I wish I had seen this earlier. Pooh! I missed the cutoff. I had to leave a comment anyway just to let you know how much I enjoy your blog.

At the moment I am in love with the icelandic -unspun- yarn, but socks yarn is going to be the next. I was thinkng about Wollmeise (is here at 30 km from my place) but I never heard about this Bugga. Thanks!
Recently I have done nothing but knit baby girl things. She is due any day now and she has a ton of diaper soakers, dresses and sweaters. I can’t wait to put them on her! Thanks

When knitting with my 2 year old we found that it brings us a lot closer, we talk about our busy schedules and what we want to do in life. The yarn barn has the best prices on free flowing bundles with a loop front in every bag!!! Yippee!!
I’ve been knitting baby blankets lately, but I am ready to start a new project: socks! This yarn is gorgeous! Thanks for the great giveaway!
I have just learned about Bugga!, even though I’ve been a knitter for years, I am only just learning about the coveted names out there and would love to try this wonder of wonders out for myself. Thank you for the opportunity! Off to twitter and FB you!
