Photo Crazy Sunday

Busy knitting for Stitches South, so not much to report here. Got a lot to get done in the next week, heck the next month! I am behind from all the sickness BG and I had last month. So far so good, knock on wood. BG won’t be at daycare all next week which is always helpful for NOT getting sick. We have friends visiting this week, staying with us a few nights and we are also going to be visiting family a few nights so we just went ahead and took most of the week off. It’s not a real vacation but as close as we may ever get this summer. We’ll see.

Handknits Wednesday - BSJ

BG and Dada, BG is modeling her cotton Baby Surprise Jacket I found in her closet. Still fits, now with 1/2 length sleeves. Will be good for cool summer nights.

Wearing an old Country Kiddie Test Knit

I was going through the 7 bins of BG’s old clothing to find some stuff I knew Carters had recalled (you send it in, and get cash back!) and out of 7 bins of clothing the 1 item BG wanted to put on was this Country Kiddie that was test knit way back when, I believe it was a larger size, hence the fitting now. She wore it for hours.

Sydney, Mama, 23 Weeks v2

A sweet photo of BG, myself and 23 weeks pregnant for the memory books.

Butteryfly Bush #1

I’ve decided to take some photos cataloging how much my butterfly bushes grow each year. I nearly fell off my chair when after the yard guys chopped them back he said “Why did you have them get rid of the butterfly bushes?” I can’t tell you how many times in the last 4 years I have told him they have to be pruned back. Online stuff and books actually say to do it to the ground, but I like to have the big root base because I’ve had good luck with that over the years, it just seems odd to cut it back to the ground.
That is all, back to knitting!
